
Seasoned talent executive will oversee talent strategy, recruitment, and on-air development for VERSANT’s portfolio of brands
NEW YORK – June 18, 2025 – VERSANT today announced the appointment of Jessica Kurdali as Senior Vice President of Talent Strategy, overseeing all talent management, recruitment, and development across the company’s news, sports, and entertainment businesses.
Kurdali will lead the company’s talent relations function, including strategic recruitment, on-air development, and long-term talent pipeline training. She will also work across VERSANT’s businesses to elevate emerging voices, drive cross-platform visibility, and cultivate a robust talent bench.
With more than two decades of experience shaping on-air talent at the highest levels of broadcast journalism, Kurdali joins VERSANT from NBCUniversal News Group, where she most recently served as Senior Vice President of Talent Strategy and Development for NBC News and MSNBC. Throughout her 22-year tenure, Kurdali played a pivotal role in identifying, developing, and securing top-tier talent across the News Group portfolio.
Kurdali’s appointment comes as VERSANT continues to bolster its senior leadership team and build a modern media company. With an established portfolio of brands spanning news, sports and entertainment, the company continues to position itself for long-term growth, innovation, and impact.
