(New York – Oct. 28, 2025) – One week from today, MSNBC will air special coverage of Election Night 2025 beginning at 7 p.m. ET, led by Rachel Maddow, and joined by the network’s expert team of journalists joining from New York and across the country.
MSNBC SPECIAL ‘DECISION 2025’ PRIMETIME COVERAGE BEGINS AT 7 P.M. ET WITH EARLY COVERAGE AT 6 P.M. ET
- At 7 p.m. ET, Rachel Maddow will lead MSNBC’s special primetime election coverage live from MSNBC Headquarters in New York City. Maddow will be joined by Nicolle Wallace, Ari Melber, Symone Sanders Townsend, Michael Steele, Alicia Menendez, Chris Hayes, Jen Psaki, Lawrence O’Donnell, and Stephanie Ruhle as they cover the results of gubernatorial races in Virginia and New Jersey, the New York City mayoral race, California’s redistricting referendum, and much more.
- Leading up to primetime coverage, Jen Psaki and Ari Melber will kick off early programming starting at 6 p.m. ET with special “Decision 2025” election coverage.
- MSNBC host Ali Velshi will be at the Big Board, breaking down the latest state-by-state results.
- At 12 a.m. ET, the hosts of “The Weeknight,” Symone Sanders Townsend, Michael Steele, and Alicia Menendez, will continue special coverage.

- Election Day coverage will begin with “Way Too Early” with Ali Vitali at 5 a.m. ET followed by “Morning Joe,” co-hosted by Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, and Willie Geist at 6 a.m. ET.
- Special “Decision 2025” Election Day coverage continues at 10 a.m. ET on “MSNBC Reports” throughout the day with Ana Cabrera, Chris Jansing, and Katy Tur. MSNBC reporters will report live from the polls as voting happens.

- On Sunday, Nov. 2, Jen Psaki will lead a primetime weekend pre-election special, “The Blueprint with Jen Psaki: Decision 2025,” at 9 p.m. ET. Psaki will speak with leading political voices ahead of Election Day, which will air as a bonus episode of her hit podcast “The Blueprint with Jen Psaki” the same day on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and wherever listeners get their podcasts.
- Ali Vitali, anchor of “Way Too Early” and senior Capitol Hill reporter, will host a special live hour of “MSNBC Reports” breaking down the biggest state-by-state races to watch at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 2.
