Grass League Championship – 40 Teams, 80 Golfers Compete for the 2025 Title – Live on Golf Channel Saturday at 7 p.m. ET

STAMFORD, Conn. – December 2, 2025 – The PGA TOUR’s Hero World Challenge, hosted by Tiger Woods, headlines Golf Channel’s live coverage this week. The annual special event features 20 of the TOUR’s biggest stars, including World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.

The Hero World Challenge will air Thursday through Sunday on Golf Channel, and on NBC on Saturday and Sunday.

This week’s live coverage also includes the DP World Tour’s Australian Open, featuring World No. 2 Rory McIlroy. The Australian Open headlines evening programming, airing Weds.-Sat. across Golf Channel and the NBC Sports App.

Additionally, the 2025 Grass League Championship will be featured in primetime on Saturday, from 7-10 p.m. ET. Playing under the lights in Tempe, Ariz., 40 teams and 80 golfers will compete for the championship title in the high-stakes, par-3 league. The field is headlined by PGA TOUR winner Charlie Beljan, former TOUR player and golf commentator Colt Knost, and retired professional tennis star and two-time American Century Championship winner Mardy Fish.

PGA TOUR: HERO WORLD CHALLENGE

This special event on the PGA TOUR is hosted by Woods and features 20 of the PGA TOUR’s star players, including Scheffler, Jordan Spieth, Justin Rose, Keegan Bradley, and more.

Scheffler will look to defend his title and win his third consecutive Hero World Challenge at Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas. Woods, who has won the event a record five times, will not be competing this year.

The Hero World Challenge airs live on Golf Channel from 1:30-4:30 p.m. ET on Thurs.-Fri., 12-2:30 p.m. ET on Saturday and 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. ET on Sunday. Additional weekend coverage on NBC airs Saturday from 2:30-5 p.m. ET and Sunday from 1:30-4:30 p.m. ET.

DP WORLD TOUR: CROWN AUSTRALIAN OPEN

Australia’s most prestigious golf tournament will be contested at Royal Melbourne Golf Club and features some of the world’s top players including McIlroy, Min Woo Lee and Si Woo Kim. There’s more than purse money on the line in 2025, as the winner of the Crown Australian Open will be given an automatic invitation to the Masters for the first in the event’s history.

Coverage of the Crown Australian Open begins with extended programming on Wednesday, airing from 3-4 p.m. ET on the NBC Sports App and from 4 p.m.-1 a.m. on Golf Channel, headlined by live coverage of McIlroy’s featured group.

On Thursday and Friday, coverage begins at 8 p.m. ET on the NBC Sports App and continues on Golf Channel from 9:30 p.m.- 1 a.m. ET. Saturday’s final round can be watched live on the NBC Sports App from 8-10 p.m. ET and on Golf Channel from 10 p.m.-1 a.m. ET.

2025 GRASS LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP

The 2025 season for the high-stakes, par-3 league comes to an end with the 2025 Grass League Championship, a two-day, 36-hole scramble event featuring 40 teams and 80 golfers. The championship takes place under the lights at Grass Clippings Rolling Hills in Tempe, Ariz., and will feature well-known golfers, athletes, personalities and more.

Golf Channel will feature the final round of the 2025 Grass League Championship live in primetime on Saturday from 7-10 p.m. ET.
