Starting Wednesday, July 10th Movie Fans Will Receive a Midweek Discount When Purchasing Tickets to Their Favorite Blockbuster or Cherished Franchise in Theaters
LOS ANGELES, CA – July 2, 2024 – Fandango, the nation’s leading online movie ticketing service, announced today the upcoming launch of an exciting new program offering moviegoers $5 off their movie ticket purchase on Wednesdays when using Apple Pay. Starting Wednesday, July 10th and continuing in the weeks to follow, fans who purchase tickets on Wednesday to any movie and showtime in theaters using Apple Pay and the code ‘APPLEPAYWED’ at checkout will receive $5 off their order.
This new program launches ahead of the Apple original film premiere of, Fly Me To The Moon, hitting theaters on July 12th. Movie enthusiasts can take advantage of this midweek deal to see some of 2024’s most anticipated blockbusters, including Twisters, Deadpool & Wolverine, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Transformers One, Wolfs, Joker: Folie A Deux, Smile 2, and many more.

From the same survey, Deadpool & Wolverine and Borderlands made the top 10 most anticipated movies of the summer list, with Deadpool & Wolverine becoming the #1 highest pre-seller for an R-rated title in Fandango’s history, the best first-day ticket seller of 2024, and the best first-day pre-seller from The Deadpool Franchise, reinforcing that fans will flock to theaters for the right content.
