Sally Shin Named Executive Vice President of Growth and Partnerships for CNBC

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ – January 12, 2026 Sally Shin has been named Executive Vice President of Growth and Partnerships for CNBC. In this new role, Shin will be responsible for accelerating the brand’s growth across emerging media platforms and strengthening new and existing partnerships. She will drive strategic expansion through data-driven audience development, revenue diversification, and high-impact partnerships. Shin will report to KC Sullivan, President of CNBC, and starts on January 13.

Shin brings deep experience across media, technology, artificial intelligence and strategic growth. Most recently, she served as a Venture Partner at Comcast Ventures, advising startups in the media and tech sectors. Prior to that, she was Chief Strategy Officer at UnitedMasters, where she led business development, partnerships, and corporate development initiatives. She was also the co-founder of Raive, an artificial intelligence company focused on multimedia foundation models. 

Earlier in her career, Shin spent several years in journalism and production. At CNBC, she served as San Francisco Bureau Chief and helped launch the network’s first tech-focused program, Squawk Alley. She later became Executive Editor at NBC News, overseeing business, tech, and media coverage across broadcast, digital, streaming, and podcasts.

Beyond her professional roles, Shin is a Young Global Leader for the World Economic Forum and has advised innovative companies such as the prediction market platform Kalshi and served as a scout for Kleiner Perkins. Shin holds a B.A. in Journalism and Economics from NYU and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
